I have been a psychotherapist since 1986, having completed my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Washington. Prior to beginning my private practice in 1999, I was on the staff of Virginia Mason Medical Center for 12 years. While at VMMC, I worked with individuals and couples as well as facilitating a variety of groups.
Since receiving my degree, I have done postgraduate training through a series of courses, institutes, workshops, and seminars. I hold a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from COR-Northwest Family Development Center and am currently a psychoanalytic candidate at the Northwestern Psychoanalytic Society (NPS), part of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA).
